Mario Tennis Fever has officially been announced as the latest entry in Nintendo’s popular sports franchise. The game is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2026, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. Continuing the long tradition of Mario Sports titles, this installment introduces fresh innovations that set it apart from previous entries.

Mario Tennis Fever comes with a variety of exciting features to enhance the gameplay experience. Players will discover 30 types of Fever Rackets, each equipped with special abilities that can be used for offense or defense. On top of that, there are 38 playable characters, the largest roster in Mario Tennis history.

Classic gameplay elements like topspin, slice, and lob remain, but now new mechanics such as slide moves and defense-focused footwork are added. These combinations make matches more strategic and dynamic than ever before.
