RRQ Valorant's journey to the Tokyo Finals VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 2 has been somewhat bumpy. After a grueling Lower Bracket campaign, RRQ Valorant still faces another challenge: obtaining a Schengen visa to compete in Valorant Champions 2025 Paris. This was previously announced by RRQ CEO Andrian "AP" Pauline.

AP confirmed that the team is currently experiencing difficulties with the visa process. However, he expressed optimism that the visa issue can be resolved and will be resolved before the Tokyo Finals VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 2 at the end of August 2025. Despite this, fans and the Kingdom have been anxious about this issue.

However, there is finally some clarity regarding the RRQ Valorant visa issue. Jake Sin, Head of APAC VCT Pacific, stated that all teams will compete with their core players at the VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 2 Tokyo Finals via his Twitter account on Friday, August 29, 2025. This means that teams, including RRQ Valorant, will no longer experience visa issues as previously.

"Happy to confirm that all core players from our three teams will be in Japan to compete this weekend!" Jake wrote.

RRQ Valorant Visa Issues Secure, Management Admits Major Challenges

Although RRQ Valorant's visa issues were ultimately resolved in a timely manner, management acknowledged the lengthy process. Through the RRQ Valorant Instagram account, management explained the process they faced in obtaining RRQ Valorant's Schengen visas so they could compete at Valorant Champions 2025 Paris.

Several players, including Xffero, Kushy, and Crazyguy, encountered obstacles during the process. The management finally tried to process the Visa in Korea and also to increase the chance of speeding up the process, the management had to send the players back to their respective countries, Xffero and Kushy to Indonesia and Crazyguy back to Vietnam.

"To our valued fans, we encountered significant obstacles in securing French Schengen visa appointments in Korea for several players. To improve their chances, we sent Xffero and Kushy to Indonesia, hoping for earlier appointments. When this plan fell through, we promptly arranged their return to Korea for backup appointment dates. Similarly, we flew Crazyguy ti Vietnam, where he received strong support to expedite his visa process," wrote the management.

In fact, facing the worst-case scenario, RRQ Valorant had already prepared a backup plan by recruiting a replacement player, Jonathan "nAtz" Adiputra. Fortunately for RRQ Valorant, all Schengen visa applications for the players were completed on time. The management expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped secure Schengen visas for Valorant Champions 2025 Paris.

"Should Crazyguy's visa not be processed in time for the Tokyo finals, Jonathan "nAtz" Adiputra from our academy team is ready to step in. We commend Xffero, Kushy, and Crazyguy to their efforts, enduring extensive travel and patiently awaiting visa approval to compete in the finals. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped secure our Schengen visas for VCT Champions 2025 in Paris. With this behind us, we're ready to fight for our title this weekend! Let's show the world how the RRQ Kingdom can be!," the management concluded.

It's interesting to hear that RRQ Valorant's visa issues have been resolved and they will be ready to compete in the Tokyo Finals VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 2. Hopefully, this resolved issue will be a mental boost that will encourage RRQ Valorant's performance to be better when facing TALON and Paper Rex this coming weekend.
