MediaTek, one of the leading chipset manufacturers, has launched a new chipset in their 6000 series, namely the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. After releasing the Dimensity 6020 and 6080 earlier this year, MediaTek continues to innovate by bringing the latest technology to the smartphone market.

According to a report from Gizmochina (12/7), the Dimensity 6100+ chipset stands out with its outstanding power efficiency achieved through a 4nm-based manufacturing process. This provides support for bright screens, high image update rates, artificial intelligence (AI) powered camera technology, low power consumption, and reliable 5G Sub-6 connectivity.

The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ mobile processor offers impressive specifications and features. This chipset is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 2.95 GHz Cortex-A78 and ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU to provide a smooth graphics rendering experience. This processor supports a single camera up to 200 MP or a dual camera of 64 MP with ISP 14-bit 2x support.

Dimensity 6100+ also provides a refresh rate capability of up to 144 Hz at Full HD+ resolution or 90 Hz at Quad HD+ resolution to provide a more immersive visual experience. This chipset also provides various connectivity options including 5G Sub-6, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC for a reliable connection. Storage options include UFS 3.1 up to 1TB, while the chipset supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

MediaTek also features its latest gaming technology, MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0, which optimizes game performance and provides a smooth gaming experience.
