What Are Apex Packs?
Apex Packs are loot boxes in Apex Legends that contain cosmetic items or crafting materials. Each pack includes 3 items and guarantees no gameplay advantage—meaning it's completely zero pay-to-win. Items can include character skins, weapon skins, banner frames, voice lines, and Crafting Metals.

How to Get Apex Packs for Free

You can collect Apex Packs just by leveling up!
From Level 2 to 500, you can earn up to 199 Apex Packs in total:

• Level 2–20: 1 pack per level

• Level 22–300: 1 pack every 2 levels

• Level 305–500: 1 pack every 5 levels

Bonus: You still earn 600 Legend Tokens for every level gained!

Drop Rates? No Duplicates + Lucky Draw Protection!

Each Apex Pack guarantees at least one Rare item or higher. Here are the base probabilities:

• Rare or better: 100%

• Epic or better: 24.8%

• Legendary: 7.4%

And no worries—you won’t get duplicate cosmetic items. The more items you own, the higher the chances of receiving rare cosmetics you don’t have yet!

Bonus: Heirloom Shards – The Key to Rare Prestige Skins

Apex Packs also have a 0.045% chance to drop Heirloom Shards, a currency used to unlock Prestige Skins and Heirloom Sets. You’re guaranteed to receive Heirloom Shards within every 500 packs, unless you already own all available sets.

Special Types of Apex Packs

• Epic Apex Pack: Guarantees at least one Epic item

• Legendary Apex Pack: Guarantees at least one Legendary item

Each pack follows a Guaranteed Drop system in addition to standard RNG mechanics.
