Who doesn’t know Optimus Prime? This alien robot, as well as the leader of the Autobots, is very popular. The Prime title he received is a mark that he is a robot worthy to be a leader. In the Transformers universe, Prime is the highest title in Transformers continuity. This title usually given to Autobots leader and only for those who carry Matrix of Leadership on them.

Aside from Optimus Prime, there are 13 other Primes in the franchise. These 13 Primes are told as the first living beings made by Primus, the creator of Transformers and their home planet, Cybertron. In the live-action movies, the Primes only consist of seven robots and they all are created by Allspark.

13. Prima 

Prima is the first living being created by Primus. He also becomes the first alien robot who carries the Matrix of Leadership on him. If other Primes stores the Matrix of Leadership on the chest, then Prima instead stores it on the legendary sword called The Star Sabre. Prima firstly appeared in Marvel Transformers comic book series in 1989.

12. Alpha Trion

Alpha Trion firstly appeared in the Transformer cartoon series in 1985. Aside from being a Prime, Alpha Trion also becomes the oldest robot on Cybertron. Alpha Trion is known as the wisest leader.

11. Nexus Prime

Nexus Prime is known as Wizard of Forms. He is the first combination robot to be a Prime. Every part of his body can transform and each has its purpose. With his massive body compared to other Primes, makes Nexus feared by others.

10. Vector Prime

Vector Prime is a robot made by Primus who is tasked to keep the time and space. He has nine swords called Rhisling and can travel time and space at will. He is first introduced in Transformers cartoon series from Japan titled Transformers: Galaxy Force.

9. Solus Prime

Solus Prime is the only female Prime in the Transformers universe. She is created by Primus with a nick in weaponry. Her favorite weapons are Star Saber and The Fallen's Requiem Blaster. In Transformers: Exiles, Solus is told to have a special relationship with Nexus Prime. 

8. Amalgamous Prime

Amalgamous Prime is said as Mischief Prime. It’s because he can turn himself into anything he wants at will.

7. Megatronus Prime atau The Fallen

Megatronus Prime is a Prime who is known as a knight from the darkness. After killing Solus and betraying other Primes, Megatronus later called The Fallen. Aside from the cartoon and comic book series, Megatronus also once appeared in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. 

6. Liege Maximo

Liege Maximo is the brain of all destruction in Cybertron. When the first Prime was created for peace, then Liego Maximo is the Prime who betrayed to create the chaos. Liege Maximo is the most targeted Prime by other Primes.

5. Alchemist Prime

Alchemist Prime is a Prime that created by Primus by having a deep connection with every element in Cybertron. Compared to other Primes, Alchemist Prime is the smartest of all.

4. Onyx Prime

Onyx Prime is the first beast robot created by Primus. As a Prime, Onyx can turn into many kinds of beasts.

3. Micronus Prime

Micronus Prime is the first Mini-Con created by Primus. He is tasked to lead the Mini-Cons in Cybertron.

2. Quintus Prime

Quintus Prime is a scientist robot from Cybertron who later serves as the inventor of Quintessons. 

1. The Thirteenth Prime

The Thirteenth Prime is a keeper robot who keeps the other 12 Primes to stick together from fighting. There is no clear physical information regarding Thirteenth Prime.
