Transformers is a robot series that originated from Cybertron. On this planet, there are two sides that constantly at war with each other, Autobots and Decepticons. The conflict between the two began when they were fighting over an energy source called All Sparks. Their battles had run for a thousand years and even reaching the Earth. Every movie kept growing their stories until they were looking for their creator.

In Transformer 4: Age of Extinction, it was told that the Autobots almost defeated when facing Galvatron’s army. Optimus Prime, as the leader of Autobots, looked for help by releasing Dinobots in Lockdown’s main aircraft. 5. Grimlock - Tyrannosaurus Rex (Pemimpin)

Grimlock is the leader of Dinobots as well as the most vicious one. He can transform into Tyrannosaurus Rex that can move swiftly and burst fire from his mouth. When he turns into a robot, Grimlock wields an Energon sword. Even though he is said as the most vicious member, it’s unknown why he can be taken down by Lockdown. In the animated series, Grimlock instead has high-level intelligence compared to his movie counterpart as he managed to create the Technobots.

4. Slug - Triceratops

In the same movie, Slug is mounted by Drift, the samurai Autobot. Slug, or Slag in the comic books, is a Dinobot with Triceratops form. He is Dinobots with all-round abilities. When transforms into Triceratops, he serves as a walking defensive fortress in battle. Packed with flame burst from his mouth, Slug can destroy a building with one head ram. Not only that, but he can also produce a laser beam from his eyes. During in his robot mode, he also wields an Energon sword, laser gun, and rocket thrusters.

3. Scorn - Spinosaurus

Scorn is a Dinobots mounted by Crosshair in the Age of Extinction. He comes as a Spinosaurus as his transformation form with the most vicious appearance among others. When he’s in robot form, Scorn is weaponed with an Energon sword and has a spear-like weapon attached to his left arm. He also a good partner for Crosshair when storming the battlefield. Due to their close relationship, Crosshair calls him "Spike" as Scorn is his pet.

2. Strafe - Pteranodon

Strafe is a Pteranodon Dinobot with two heads. In the movie, Strafe is mounted by Bumblebee. In the comics, Strafe is known as Swoop and acts like the smartest Dinobots. Strafe has a nick for airstrikes and can eliminate Decepticon’s air force. Strafe has flying velocity up to 250 mph, packed with two rockets located on both wings and can shoot lasers from his eyes. Strafe is said as an air unit who is a master in weaponry in Technobots sub-division.

1. Snarl - Stegosaurus

Snarl maybe the only Dinobot who doesn’t appear in Transformer 4: Age of Extinction. But in the comics and the animated series, Snarl always appears. This Stegosaur robot hates everything, even his teammates. He always shows his frown face to everyone, but he will smile when facing his enemies. The fascinating part of him is his design as he has a solar panel on his neck, where the panel can unleash solar energies that can be used as his fuel, even though Snarl still can operate normally even without the energy. His tail can slam a 20 feet tall cube. Meanwhile, his body can protect himself from Decepticon’s incendiary bullets.
