1. Produced in More Than 20 Countries
Because of its popularity, AK 47 is produced in more than 20 countries. When the article is made, China is the country that made the most AK 47. Although Russia no longer makes this weapon, they have a stockpile of material that can be used to make this weapon.
2. Not Made by Kalashnikov Alone
History recorded that AK 47 is a weapon created by Mikhail Kalashnikov. In reality, the sergeant only perfected the concept of a gun created by an engineer named Alexey Sudayev in 1943.
The gun created by Alexey Sedayev is not yet complete since it’s just a rough concept of weapon to replace the main weapon of the Soviet’s soldier. When the war is over in 1945, Kalashnikov takes the concept of Alexey Sudayev’s weapon and perfected the weapon in 1947 and the Soviet accepted the weapon.
Kalashnikov’s version of AK 47 is lighter, more accurate, and can be mass-produced.
3. More Than 100 Million Units Exists
Because AK 47 is still produced to this date, the number of units of AK 47 is massive. According to official data, around 100 million units exist, meaning one out of sixty individuals has an AK 47.
It’s possible since AK 47 is cheap. Compared to M16, AK 47 is three or four times cheaper. Its price is one of the reasons why irresponsible parties choose this weapon.

4. Has a Lesser-Known Sibling
In the 1950s, the Denmark military proposed that their locally produced AK 47 is the main weapon of NATO soldiers, the weapon is called Madsen LAR.
Madsen LAR is similar to AK 47, down to its ammunition. Unfortunately, the gun is not as popular as its competitor, FN Belgia and Heckler & Koch G3 Germany, so now the weapon is an antique at the Royal Danish Armory Musem, Copenhagen, Denmark.
5. Mikhail Kalashnikov is Paid in Employee Wage from AK 47
