Resident Evil Village is finally available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, dan PC via Steam. This game is the direct sequel of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (RE 7) that was released in 2017. 

Like its predecessor, Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game played from first-person perspective/FPP.

After his struggle to find his wife in RE 7, Ethan Winters returns as the main character of Resident Evil Village. He is forced to visit a palace in a mysterious village to save his daughter that was kidnapped by Chris Redfield.

But Ethan Winters’s adventure won’t be as exciting without terrifying opponents. Before you play the game it’s best if you learn about the villains that you will face in Resident Evil Village. See the list here.

1. Lady Dimitrescu

Lady Dimitrescu is one of the antagonists that the player will face inResident Evil Village. When announced, this character attracts a lot of attention. It’s all because of her 2,9 meters height. Her shoe size is 2x a normal female size, at 17,4 inch (around 44cm).

Her full name is Alcina Dimitrescu. The name Dimitrescu has its roots in Romania, and the central region of Transylvania which has long been associated with the fictional character Count Dracula.

On his way to England, Dracula went on an adventure on a ship named Demeter. This may be what inspired the writer of Resident Evil Village to create more depth to this tall female character.

Interestingly, the development of Lady Dimitrescu’s character was inspired by Count Dracula. She is also told as a vampire noblewoman who sucks the blood of "Bride".

2. Bela, Cassandra, dan Daniela

Bela, Cassandra and Daniela are three personal aides and daughters of Lady Dimitrescu. These three characters are not as tall as their mother, but they have horifying abilities and they are eager to torture Ethan furing his journey. They are also very loyal to their mother and will do whatever they ask.

3. Karl Heisenberg

Next is a mysterious man named Karl Heisenberg. He is an engineer in the village. He also has a giant metal hammer as his main weapon. The character that is identical to his coat and sunglasses is very dangerous. So be careful when you meet Karl, because he will target and catch Ethan with his weapon. In fact, he can also manipulate metal objects around him. Players must remain vigilant when dealing with this enemy. Because he seems to be the leader of the Lycan.

4. Lycans

In Resident Evil VII, Ethan comes face to face with zombies in a gruesome form. Now in Village series, Ethan will face Lycans. Not only that, there are several types of Lycan that you will face later. Starting from a human-sized Lycan, a fast-moving Lycan, even a giant Lycan, one of which is armed with a giant iron hammer.

5. Salvatore Moreau 

Salvatore Moreau is Resident Evil Village's nastiest enemy. Before its release, Capcom mentioned that the designers specifically created Moreau to be the most disgusting Resident Evil: Village character . Not only that, this character even becomes an enemy that is quite difficult to deal with and has a very deadly attack. The attack can even burn the enemy's skin.

6. Donna Beneviento 

Next is a terrifying character named Mother Donna Beneviento. She becomes one of the scariest villains with a doll named Anggie that she always carries around. When Capcom presented it in the United States, developer Morimaso Sato was surprised that many people considered this villain duo to be the scariest character of all lords. Capcom says dolls are one of the most dreaded things, especially for gamers in the United States.

7. Mother Miranda

Finally, Mother Miranda was told by Capcom as a mysterious character who is the mastermind behind all disasters in Resident Evil Village. There is not much information provided by Capcom other than playing this game when it was released. But certainly, Mother Miranda is the leader of the three Lords in Village. As a leader, she has extraordinary abilities and is certainly not an easy opponent for Ethan to face.
