With the popularity of One Piece Live Action Netflix and Oda have decided to continue the series into Season 2. There have even been discussions about extending One Piece Live Action to six seasons. Although there is no exact date yet, it is likely that the second season will premiere as early as the end of 2024.
One of the actors set to appear in the second season is Joe Manganiello, who will portray Crocodile. Joe appears to be very excited about his role as Crocodile. He has even changed his profile header and bio on his X account.
In the profile header, there's a scene depicting Crocodile stabbing Luffy during their first encounter. Meanwhile, in his bio, Joe wrote “Hisashiburi Dana… Mugiwara,” which means “Long time no see… Straw Hat.” This shows that Joe is really immersing himself in his role as the main antagonist in this season.
Oda also hinted that Chopper will be introduced in the upcoming season. Unfortunately, Oda confirmed that the second season will not adapt the Alabasta arc. This was shared by Oda through his social media accounts. This means that the second season will likely only adapt the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Little Garden, Whiskey Peak, and Drum Island arcs. So, will Joe be seen in the second season? Stay tuned for the release date!
