Minecraft Dungeons is finally released on May 26, 2020. Only a few days after its first released, the game by Mojang Studios managed to be ranked at the top of the Nintendo eShop and Xbox Store services!

Quoted the tweet from a video game industry analyst, Benji-Sales, Minecraft Dungeons became the No. 1 game on Nintendo eShop, replacing Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Here is his tweet:

Minecraft Dungeons is a hack and slash dungeon crawler game with an isometric perspective, similar to the Diablo game series. It can be played alone or co-operative with a maximum of 4 players simultaneously, both locally or online multiplayer. The goal of this game is to venture into a dungeon that is always different every time, complete with enemies, traps and of course treasure. Minecraft Dungeons does not have a class system, so the players can freely use desired weapons and armor.

By carrying out different genre, plus carrying Minecraft big name, this game is automatically becomes the best-selling game. According to the video games industry analyst,  Benji-Sales, Minecraft Dungeons became the no.1 game on Nintendo eShop, replacing Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Besides on the Nintendo eShop, on the Xbox Game Store itself Minecraft Dungeons is currently ranked first, beating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition itself is ranked 5th, which has additional in-game items and 2 DLC Packs, was planned to be released in 2020.
