The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2025 Fall competition has been running for four weeks, and a total of four teams from Thailand have secured their places in the Grand Finals. The four Thai teams that have secured their places in the Grand Finals are Twisted Minds (PHARAOH), Team Falcons, All Gamers Global, and Buriram United Esports. One team that has stood out is Twisted Minds, formerly PHARAOH.
Under the tutelage of renowned coach Aekkachai "NAMO" Kaewkong, Twisted Minds, formerly PHARAOH, has emerged as an extraordinary top-tier team. Featuring a variety of young Thai stars, this team is a strong contender for the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall championship. With their experienced players, NAMO and Twisted Minds are truly exceptional.
NAMO's Mission: Nurturing New Teams in FFWS SEA 2025 Fall: Aim for the Championship!
Following the Free Fire Esports World Cup (EWC FF) 2025, NAMO left Buriram United Esports. NAMO's decision certainly came as a surprise, leaving the team that had been with him for the past few years. However, leaving Buriram United Esports didn't mark the end of NAMO's journey in the competitive Free Fire scene.
NAMO gathered members of Core Memory Esports, including Cougar, Donbu, Jumpgod, ZENS1, and TheBas, and formed a new team called PHARAOH. During the first two weeks, PHARAOH was a force that overshadowed other teams in FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, especially Indonesian teams. PHARAOH wasn't particularly prominent, but they were still worth keeping an eye on.
Finally, in the third week of FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, when the battle for a spot in the Grand Finals was over, PHARAOH showed their true skills. They secured three BOOYAHs, and PHARAOH ultimately qualified for the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Grand Finals as the first team from Thailand. Shortly after, PHARAOH changed their name to Twisted Minds.
In a media interview with Garena Indonesia, NAMO answered Dunia Games' (DG) question about how he develops the young ex-Core Memory Esports stars who are now under his wing. According to NAMO, the key to his team's strength is continuous practice and developing effective strategies for the "Champion Rush" format.
"We will keep practice and learn from our mistakes, while also preparing strategies for the Champion Rush format by maintaining our best performance in Grand Final," NAMO said in response to Dunia Games (DG). With the current strong results, NAMO is in no rush to lead Twisted Minds to victory.
NAMO explained that Twisted Minds is currently finding the right foundation and growing to become even better. Nevertheless, the desire to become champions remains their hope for the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall. "I'd prefer not to have people rush to assume that my arrival means the team must now become champions. This team still needs to gradually build its foundation and become even stronger," NAMO added.
"However, ultimately, we do aspire to be champions," he concluded.
It will be interesting to see how Twisted Minds and NAMO fare in the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Grand Final. Can NAMO make history by leading Twisted Minds to the SEA championship this season? We'll just have to wait and see.
