The puzzle of the Sylveon evolution in Pokemon GO is starting to be revealed. As we already know, currently, we can evolve Eevee to any of its evolution except for Sylveon.

Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon each require certain tricks to get the evolution. With the release of the Gen 6 Pokemon in Pokemon GO, Trainers are now anticipating the arrival of Eevee’s Fairy evolution, Sylveon.

Evolving Eevee using the name trick can only be done once. You can name your Eevee to ‘Rainer’ to evolve it to Vaporeon, ‘Sparky’ for Jolteon, ‘Pyro’ for Flareon, ‘Sakura’ for Espeon, ‘Tamao’ for Umbreon, ‘Linnea’ for Leafeon, and ‘Rea’ for Glaceon.

After using that method, you need to resort to other tricks, such as walk as a buddy, lure evolution, or random evolution.

So far, it’s believed that ‘Serena’ will be the name used to evolve Eevee into Sylveon with the release of Gen 6. It’s based on the Trainer of Sylveon in the story, who’s also named Serena.

However, there’s a new update on this trick! If you change your Eevee name to ‘Kira’, you’ll see the silhouette of Sylveon evolution. So, it’s highly likely that ‘Kira’ will be the name required for you to evolve your Eevee into Sylveon. Kira is also a Trainer who has Sylveon in Pokemon Sun & Moon.

Although the name has been revealed, you still can’t evolve it just yet. Sylveon is yet to arrive in Pokemon GO. Let’s wait for the official announcement from Niantic. Watch the following Dunia Games video, hosted by Professor Ado, on naming Eevee ‘Kira’.
