Moskov Erlan has become the center of attention. While some have turned his performance into a joke, most have voiced criticism based on what they have seen.
Erlan’s Moskov has failed to deliver, and he has arguably been one of the key reasons behind EVOS Legends’ losses to Dewa United Esports and RRQ Hoshi. Because of Moskov Erlan, games that EVOS could—and should—have won ended in defeat.
There have been multiple moments—perhaps five or six across both series—where Erlan’s Moskov has made baffling plays that turned into disasters. Situations that shouldn't have happened at this level.
EVOS Fams have been furious. Had Erlan simply performed at a standard level, the White Tigers could very well have claimed victories in both matches. But instead, there was always a questionable move that changed everything.
His performances have sparked serious doubts. Many fans have even started calling for EVOS to replace their Gold Laner—a reaction that feels fair, considering the impact his mistakes have had on the team’s outcomes.
Moskov Erlan: Has the Player Crumbled Under Pressure?
Erlan made two especially bold and questionable plays as Moskov in Game 3 against Dewa United Esports.
The first came when he threw his spear and hit Maybee, then teleported in to try and secure the kill. But his damage calculations fell short. Maybee still had Flicker and escaped, while Moskov Erlan got pinned against Badang’s wall and died.
This moment occurred after the rest of his teammates had already begun to back off from the fight.
Then came another critical error. Once again, Erlan landed a spear on Maybee near the Lord area during a crucial late-game team fight. He chased Maybee, only to be trapped again—this time by Badang Muezza—and eliminated. This death sealed the loss for EVOS, who fell 2-1 to Dewa United.
Against RRQ, similar mistakes were repeated. Erlan's poor damage calculation and positioning cost him dearly. One particular moment stood out: he walked alone into RRQ’s red buff area during the late game with no backup, only to be ambushed by Dyrenn and Idok hiding in the bush. Erlan was instantly killed.
These games have given Erlan a tough but valuable lesson. Without a doubt, the coaching staff and management have already provided their feedback.
Now, the question remains—does Erlan have the mental resilience to bounce back from the immense pressure and criticism he’ll face in the coming week?
Only time will tell.
