The MPL ID Season 5 tournament which will enter its playoff rounds is reported to be held online. In week 6, the tournament was still run in an offline fashion, however, the organizer has decided to hold the event without any audience at the MPL Arena XO Hall Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta. So, there were only players at the venue.

But starting from week 7 to the playoff rounds, the MPL ID Season 5 will be held online, with the participating teams playing at their respective gaming houses.

From week 7 to week 8, every MPL Season 5 fixtures will entirely be held online from their respective gaming houses, this means that no players will be at the XO Hall, only the casters and analysts will give their commentaries from the XO Hall studio.

As for the playoffs, it will no longer be held at Britama Arena, and instead will be held at the Pullman Hotel, and there will be slight changes on the schedules which would have started on April 11-12, changed into a three days fixtures, from April 10-12.

The decision is, however, still subject to changes, depending on the situation of COVID-19 in Indonesia. If it is decided that Jakarta has to be locked down, then the organizer may need to postpone the tournament.
