The Honor of Kings (HOK) division has officially welcomed a new coach, Li “GoodLuck” Sizhen, following their recent split with former coach Priyagung “Ruichen” Satriono, just ahead of the 2025 IKL Spring. Unlike Ruichen, GoodLuck is still relatively unknown to many fans.

GoodLuck hails from China and has been appointed as the coach for RRQ Honor of Kings (HOK). This change is certainly exciting, but it also presents a challenge for the players. They must find ways to absorb the coach's insights and establish effective communication with him.

Muhfers Shares Insights on Collaborating with GoodLuck as the New Coach of RRQ HOK

In a special interview with Dunia Games, Muhfers shared his thoughts and experiences about collaborating with GoodLuck, the new coach of RRQ HOK, as they prepare for the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025.

Muhfers began by expressing that their teamwork with GoodLuck has been quite positive. However, he noted that it hasn't reached its full potential due to some issues, particularly with discipline.

"The coach's strategies are in place, and we've applied them during ranked matches, peak tournaments, and scrims. However, we still face challenges, especially with discipline, which has led to some misplays that the coach has pointed out," Muhfers told Dunia Games.

He also discussed the challenges they faced while working with GoodLuck. One significant hurdle has been communication. Fortunately, Bai, a jungler and one of the imported players from Malaysia, has played a crucial role in bridging that gap.

Bai's strong communication skills have allowed him to effectively relay information between the team and GoodLuck, helping them to better implement the strategies and feedback provided by the coach.

"There are some communication difficulties, but we've managed to reduce them. We don’t have a translator yet, so we rely on Bai. He translates our messages to the coach and vice versa," Muhfers explained.

Muhfers addressed the absence of the coach who did not join the team at the IKL Spring 2025 event, mentioning that GoodLuck, the new coach for RRQ HOK, will soon arrive in Indonesia and will promptly start working with the team for the upcoming IKL Spring 2025 event.

"He might be here this week or next week (week 3)," he noted.

In closing, Muhfers expressed his confidence in RRQ HOK's ability to achieve great results, emphasizing their goal of securing a top 3 finish, which would qualify them for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

"We need to stay optimistic about the playoffs because our aim is to finish in the top 3," he added.
