Naoki Yoshida Hints at Final Fantasy XVI Coming to Xbox!
Is it possible that Final Fantasy XVI will actually come to Xbox?
Games | 11 October
A while ago, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XVI exclusively for PS5. About a year later, the game was then available to play on PC. Unfortunately, Xbox console users still have no certainty about when the game will be available on Xbox Series S/X.
Recently, Square Enix has hinted at the arrival of Final Fantasy XVI to Xbox. In an interview, Naoki Yoshida or better known as Yoshi-P, the producer of Final Fantasy XIV and director of Final Fantasy XVI, explained to Xbox users that there is still hope.
"We did announce the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI, and then we also thought about the Xbox version, so we would like to release it on that console. But when it comes to specifics like when the game will be available and such, we are not in a position to share anything," Yoshi-P replied.
"While we can't confirm anything yet, players should not give up hope on this," he added. As of now, there is no certainty when Final Fantasy XVI will be coming to Xbox. What is clear is that Yoshi-P has been working on it so we Xbox users just have to wait.
Final Fantasy XVI will be released on June 22, 2023 for PS5. Then on September 17, 2024 yesterday, the game began to be presented on PC.
