In the eighth issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine released on Monday, January 22nd 2024, it was announced that a younger version of the character Gaara will appear as part of the 38th DLC for the seventh season of the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. This DLC is scheduled to launch soon.

The younger version of Gaara is the second of three characters in the seventh Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker season pass, who first appeared in November 2023. The first character in this season pass is Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Progression).

The sixth season pass for the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be introduced in April 2023 with the theme "Chronicle." Characters in this season include Minato Namikaze (Reanimation), Obito Uchiha (Ten Tails Jinchuriki), and Kaguya Otsutsuki.

The fifth season pass adds five new characters to the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker with the theme "Legacy." Characters in this season include: Madara Uchiha (Six Paths), Temari, Konohamaru Sarutobi (manga version of Boruto), Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode), and Isshiki Otsutsuki.

The fourth season pass focuses on the theme of "regeneration" and includes characters such as Sakura Haruno from the Great Ninja War, Nagato (in Edo Tensei form), Itachi (in Edo Tensei form), Sasuke Uchiha (Final Battle), and Kawaki.

The third season pass of the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker involves characters such as Kakashi Hatake (with Sharingan in both eyes), Neji Hyuga, Shisui Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki (Final Battle), and Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Form).

The second season pass of the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker includes characters such as Zabuza Momochi, Haku, Ohnoki, Killer Bee, Sasuke Uchiha (anime version of Boruto), Ino Yamanaka, Might Guy, Mei Terumi, and Naruto Uzumaki (as Hokage Seventh in the anime and manga Boruto).

The first season pass of the game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker introduces characters such as Jiraiya, Sarutobi, Orochimaru, Minato Namikaze, Tobirama Senju, Hashirama Senju, Tsunade, Obito Uchiha, and Madara Uchiha.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in America, Europe, and Southeast Asia in August 2018. The game was also launched in Japan for PlayStation 4 in August 2018. The game's theme song is entitled "Signal" and performed by the music group Game Jikkyousha Wakuwaku Band.
