One Piece Live Action 2 is ready to air even though Netflix has not yet revealed the release date. During filming, the actors did their best to play their roles as closely as possible to the characters they played. One of the interesting actors here is Zoro's actor, Mackenyu Arata.

Mackenyu Arata faced a big challenge in playing this iconic character. In a video uploaded by Netflix on YouTube, Emily Rudd (who plays Nami) said that Netflix gave Mackenyu a special sword to use in his mouth in order to be able to play the role of Zoro well.

Mackenyu also underwent intensive training to master the three-sword fighting technique or Santoryu, which is Zoro's trademark. He trained hard to bite the sword with his mouth, a technique that requires high jaw strength and body coordination. Mackenyu admitted that it also made his mouth tired.

In addition, to deepen the role of Zoro, Mackenyu also made physical modifications, such as piercing his left ear to wear Zoro's three signature gold earrings and dyeing the bottom of his hair green, while the top uses a wig. Mackenyu's dedication and hard work in playing Zoro shows his commitment to bringing this character to the screen with authenticity and passion.
