Netflix recently announced the launch of English dubbed versions of the first two seasons of the Kimi ni Todoke anime, which is adapted from the manga Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You by Karuho Shiina. This is news that is eagerly awaited by anime fans, especially those who want to enjoy this series with English dialogue.

In this English dub version, the voice actors for the first episode have been announced. Xanthe Huynh will voice the main character, Sawako Kuronuma, while Khoi Dao will voice Shota Kazehaya. Apart from that, there are also a number of other voice actors for supporting characters such as Chizuru Yoshida, Ayane Yano, Ryu Sanada, and others.

For those who don't know, Kimi ni Todoke tells the story of the journey of a girl named Sawako Kuronuma, who has the nickname "Sadako" because of her scary appearance. However, his life changes when he begins to form a friendship with Shota Kazehaya, a popular student at his school. Their friendship later developed into something more than just friendship.

Kimi ni Todoke was first serialized in Shueisha's shōjo magazine Bessatsu Margaret in 2006 and ended in 2017 after achieving great success. The series gained great popularity in Japan and sold 36 million copies, including the digital version. An English version of the manga has also been published by Viz Media.

Apart from the manga and anime, Kimi ni Todoke has also been adapted into a live action movie which was released in 2010. Netflix has also released a live action series adaptation in 2023. The good news is that this anime will get a third season after 13 years. The new season is scheduled to air exclusively on Netflix worldwide in 2024.

For this third season, Kenichi Matsuzawa will direct at Production I.G, with Tomoko Konparu and Michiko Yokote as scriptwriters. The music for this anime will be produced by musicians from S.E.N.S. Projects. And what's even more interesting, Mamiko Noto and Daisuke Namikawa will return to provide voices for the main characters, Sawako Kuronuma and Shota Kazehaya.
