When you get out of the elevator, you will be faced with civilians who are queuing for luggage inspection at the airport entrance. Suddenly Makarov and the group opened fire to the civilians.

Allen inevitably has to act as a member of the group to carry out his disguise, if the player fights Makarov or runs from the scene then they will be shot by Makarov's men. You only have 2 choices, stay silent and watch this horror or shoot the civilians. There is nothing sadder than shooting innocent people to death.

The airport security guards were also executed by the Makarov’s group. All residents who wanted to escape from the massacre were also fired upon, countless innocent lives were lost that day at the airport. People who were limping away were executed instead.

Here Makarov’s group moves to escape while battling the anti-terror police force while running under parked planes. If you can get past the ambush of the police force, you will arrive at the final location of the mission, the basement of the airport parking lot.

There was an ambulance parked and Makarov’s group got into it disguised as medics to escape. When Allen wants to get into the ambulance while asking Makarov about the message, Makarov says there is no message and shoots Allen.

It turns out that Makarov already knew that Alexei Borodin was actually an undercover American agent named Allen, which was why he shot him and left Allen alone at the airport until the Russian police arrived to arrest him.

Because the Russian government knew that the terrorist attack was carried out by Allen, an American agent, Russia declared war on the United States and began to attack. That was the cause of World War III in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
