Previously, Yami managed to master a new technique after training against Mereoleona on a volcano. By increasing the Mana Zone ability, Yami could walk in mid-air. 1. Asta’s Story

Before continuing his training with Asta, Gaja asks something about the devil that inhabits his Grimoire. He wants to know Asta's life since he got the 5-leaf clover Grimoire and also the beginning of the devil's appearance. Asta starts telling his story since he was a baby in the Hage village.

When someone turns 15, they gather to get their Grimoire. All the children gathered at that time got their Grimoire except for Asta, and this is because Asta didn't have any magic. His rival, Yuno managed to get a 4-leaf clover Grimoire, which means he’ll become a strong wizard in the future.

2. Asta’s Devil’s Appearance

The first time Asta's body fused with the devil inside his Grimoire was when he fought Ladros in the Witches' Forest. Ladros is one of the Diamond Kingdom's strongest wizards who absorbed Salamander powers. Initially, Asta struggled to fight him even though he had used anti-magic powers.

Asta, who was on the verge of defeat, forced the devil within his Grimoire to appear to take over his body. In Black Asta mode, Ladros was defeated using the Black Meteorite. After learning the Ki flows from Yami, Asta was able to change into Black Asta according to his will, unlike Naruto who couldn't control Kurama.

3. Noelle’s Training

Noelle, who has the greatest magic of all the other Magic Knights, trains under the Queen and Undine as well. On her Valkyrie Dress form, she cuts through all the water soldiers’ shadows that Undine created. The Queen looks amazed at Noelle's growth since her first arrival to the Heart Kingdom.

Undine also explains that it is not only Noelle who has developed but also other Magic Knights, as well as those who have been training hard in the past few days. Not only those in the Heart Kingdom but also all Black Bull members everywhere. They do so for the upcoming battle against the Spade Kingdom.

4. The Devil Inside Asta’s Grimoire Starts Moving

After telling his story, Asta continues his training with Gaja. After Asta is paralyzed by Gaja, his devilish power starts to rise. In an instant, the sword that was separated far away from him returns to his grip, and then Gaja's attack can be reflected. To see the extent of Asta's potential, Gaja continues training with him.

At the end of the episode, the devil inside Asta’s Grimoire is seen planning on something. He says that the situation becomes more interesting. Could it be that the devil was expecting a battle between Clover and Heart Kingdom against the Spade Kingdom for a certain purpose? And, is it possible that all this time he deliberately let Asta use his power for that purpose?
