The weekly Boruto episode recap is here and the writer will share all the things you need to know from Boruto Episode 167. Last week, Team 7 was beaten to a pulp because of Deepa and Victor. Boruto and Sarada were injured. Mitsuki was injured too, but he forced himself to save his partners by activating the Sage Mode.

They went to safety, but the Hashirama cell was taken by Deepa and Victor, what will happen to Team 7 next? See the recap of Boruto Episode 167 below!

1. The Condition of Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki

After activating the Sage Mode, Mitsuki carried Boruto and Sarada to Yubina’s clinic. There they lost consciousness and received first aid. After that, Mugino and Konohamaru dropped off Boruto and Sarada to Konoha.

Mitsuki was dropped off to Orochimaru because his body was destroyed for using the Sage Mode for an extended period.

Sakura and Shizune immediately helped Boruto and Sarada. They recovered quickly.

Unlike them, Mitsuki is badly injured. According to Orochimaru, some of his internal organs are damaged and have to be regenerated.

Can Orochimaru’s treatment help Mitsuki grow stronger?

2. A Mysterious Sign for Mugino

Team 7 alongside Konohamaru and Mugino failed their mission to bring back the Hasirama cell. Konohamaru felt guilty and determined to unveil all of Victor’s crimes in the Land of hills. Shikamaru gave permission to Hiruzen’s grandson to spy on Victor and Konohamaru have to mobilize alone.

On the other hand, Mugino got a sign from an old lady, the sign marks the death of Mugni’s partner and that he is the only one capable stopping that.

Looking at the bad omen, Mugino asked for the Hokage to let him join Konohamaru in his mission.

3. Connection of Deepa and Victor with Kara

There’s something intriguing about the conversation between Deepa and Victor. It has been five years since Deepa joined Kara, but “that person” is yet to put his plan into work. “That person” refers to the leader of Kara, Jigen. 

Deepa and Victor move under the radar of Kara, making people think that get got another agenda. Victor is worried that Deepa’s action may cause Kara to be suspicious of him. While Deepan thinks that both he and Victor are no longer trusted by Kara. additionally, Victor can join Kara because of the investment he places on the organization.

4. The Determination of Boruto and Sarada

After suffering from a defeat, both Boruto and Sarada were mentally affected. Both kids got into a slump because all of their techniques failed to hit their opponent.

The good thing is that they managed to get out of the slump by accepting the fact that they are weak. To avoid the same mistake in the future, both are determined to train harder.

5. Kakashi Trains Boruto’s Rasengan

Their main focus in training, for now, is to hone their most reliable jutsu. Sarada will sharpen her Sharingan and Boruto will train his Rasengan. 

The best teacher available for Sarada to train her dojutsu is Sasuke. Boruto was supposed to train with his father, but Naruto is too busy to train him. 

The only ninja that can help Boruto with the Rasengan training is Kakashi. How will Boruto’s training under Kakashi look like?

Those are the five take away from Boruto episode 167. The search for Hashirama cells ends here. After their defeat, Boruto and Sarada realize that they are still weak and promises to be stronger. What about Mitsuki? Will he grow stronger after receiving a new “organ” from Orochimaru?
