The weekly Boruto episode recap here and the writer will tell you all about the key events in Boruto Episode 174. Last week, Konohamaru and Mugino sneaks into Victor’s main lab with the Daimyo of the Land of Valley. In the lab, the found out that Victor is trying to make an artificial God Tree.

Meanwhile, Boruto and Sarada are in the Land of Valley to report Anatp’s condition to Mia. but the vibration caused by the God Tree caused the two to be involved in the issue.

1. Victor Wants Chakra Fruit

The God Tree grows bigger and needs more chakra. The tree roots start to expand and the branches capture more human - turning them into a cocoon.

Konohamaru and Mugino are cornered. Mugino has to evacuate since he is injured and brings the Daimyo into a safe place. Konohamaru is left behind since he can’t let the God Tree grow.

Victor’s goal is to take the Chakra Fruit, but it’s unclear what he is going to do with the fruit. Judging by what he has been saying, it seems like Victor desires an immortal life.

2. Boruto and Sarada Faces Deepa Again

Boruto and Sarada’s prediction is correct. The vibration in the village comes from Victor’s lab. They hurried to the lab and saved Konohamaru at the right.

Konohamaru is grateful for the help but on one side, he is mad since this is no Boruto and Sarada’s mission. The grandson of Hiruzen gives in after looking at the determination coming out of the two.

Victor then appears and split Konohamaru from his mentees. Now Boruto and Sarada face Deepa again. Their battle will be awesome since Boruto and Sarada trained their best for this moment.

3. Konohamaru Will Fight Victor Alone?

Victor separates Konohamaru from his students, leaving both of them alone.

They are not fighting yet in the episode. But we can predict that Konohamaru will have a hard time. He still can’t move his right hand.

Konohamaru may get an unexpected backup against Victor. So do Boruto and Sarada.

4. The Backup is Orochimaru!

Muginothat evacuates with the Daimyo is stopped by Victor’s assistant. Mugino also faces trouble like his allies. He is losing blood because of his injury and he has to protect the Daimyo.

Two hooded individuals beat Victor’s assistant. One of them is Orochimaru. Judging from the height, the other individual may be Mitsuki. But why is he allowed to go? In last week’s episode, we know that Mitsuki needed at least one month of rest to fully recover. Hopefully, this will be answered in Boruto Episode 175.

5. Mia is Involved Too?

The villagers are anxious after the earthquake. They hurried to evacuate the village, except Mia. Boruto told her to evacuate. But because she is worried and curious about Anato’s condition, she went to Victor’s lab. What will happen to her?

Those are the key events from Boruto Episode Episode 174. What makes Orochimaru visit the Land of Valley? We know that he is comfortable enough with his life. We will find out in the next week’s episode.
