Since Boruto Episode 224 has aired, it's time for Dunia Games to review the episode. But before that let’s take a look at what happened last week.
Houki's transformation into an earth monster because of the Anbu technique startled Inojin and released his Mind Body Switch Technique. The situation turned around, Houki poked Inojin's face with his kunai and made him give up. The winner of the fight this time was Houki, and the next fight will take place after. The names that came out in the next draw were Iwabe and Wasabi.
On the train, Boruto and Mitsuki who were chasing Amado's kidnapper were lucky that their names weren't being called. They might be disqualified because they weren't present in the arena, and even on the train they lost track of Amado and his captors.
So what happens in Boruto episode 224? Find out here!
1. Both Iwabe and Wasabi have to Win Because of Their Hokage Dream
Boruto episode 224 shows the continuation of the final round of the Chunin exams which battles the remaining candidates. The winner of the final round immediately got promoted to Chunin, while the loser would fail to get a promotion. The draw for the next fight is Iwabe against Wasabi. Aspiring to become the Hokage, Iwabe thinks that getting the Chunin promotion is a big step towards becoming a great ninja like Naruto.
On the other hand, Wasabi’s family expected herto get a Chunin promotion. Since passing the second stage, Wasabi's father and mother have been very supportive of their daughter to get promoted to Chunin and continue her ninja career to become Hokage. For her parents, Wasabi is the only member of the extended family who has the potential to become a great and famous ninja.
2. Wasabi’s Grandmother Gave Her The Legendary Bakaneko Scroll
In addition to Wasabi's parents, her grandmother also appears to support her family's hope to become a Chunin. Even though the Chunin exams were held live and with a minimal audience in the arena, the Wasabi family insisted on attending the stadium where the exams were held.
Even Wasabi's grandmother gave her the heirloom spell passed down through generations to her. The legendary Bakaneko scroll can summon a large cat god. The legend is still a myth because so far Wasabi has not seen anyone who can summon the giant Bakeneko. But Wasabi still brought the heirloom scroll to the arena.

3. Ambitious Iwabe vs. Wasabi Who’s Afraid of Disappointing Her Family
Iwabe's team members, Metal Lee and Denki, who supported Iwabe saw that his teammate is very determined to become Hokage. Meanwhile Wasabi underwent her final exam fight feeling pressured that she might disappoint her family who were present in the arena. She is afraid that her family will be sad if they can't see Wasabi become a Chunin which is a step towards becoming Hokage.
Knowing that Wasabi was eyeing the Hokage position as well, Iwabe, who had ambitions to become the village leader, was furious and attacked Wasabi with a giant Sandwich technique from his earth element. The young ninja from Suna came to the arena to watch the Chunin exams. They are the Chunin from Suna, and said the young ninjas in Konoha Village were left behind in the Chunin promotion exam. Kawaki also came to the arena watching the final exam while sleepy because he is bored.
4. Bakeneko Proof
The duel between Iwabe and Wasabi turned into an argument because of their dream to become Hokage. Acknowledging that the position of Hokage was not Wasabi's wish, but the demands of her family, Iwabe became sympathetic with Wasabi. Iwabe finds out that Wasabi’s family provided the girl with the Bakeneko scroll. Iwabe then provoked Wasabi to use the Bakaneko technique.
Iwabe used Earth release jutsu multiple times to form a giant Bakaneko rock. Iwabe's efforts actually drained his chakra, and made Iwabe fall helpless because he was weak. Iwabe taunting Wasabi actually resulted in the collapse of the cat's head which would fall on Iwabe.
5. Boruto and Mitsuki Arrived at the Station Where the Amado Kidnappers Train Stopped
The results of the Iwabe vs Wasabi battle in the Chunin exams are shown in Boruto Episode 224. Wanting to protect Iwabe who lay limp and almost hit by the head of a cat statue, Wasabi was suddenly able to activate the Bakeneko scroll. The Big Cat God Bakeneko was summoned and enveloped Wasabi's body, and immediately destroyed the head of the cat statue that was about to fall on Iwabe.
Konohamaru who served as the match referee decided Wasabi was the winner, because Iwabe couldn't get up due to running out of chakra. The next duel has drawn the names of Sarada and Chouchou. Elsewhere, the kidnapper's train carrying Amado stopped somewhere. Boruto and Mitsuki who ride it to save Amado are even carried further away from the Chunin exam arena.
