1. Kageyama Doesn’t Want to Lose to Hinata
Even though they’re on the same team, Kageyama feels that he is also competing with Hinata. Compete to contribute more to the team. Hinata managed to save the team several times, such as when he received Aran’s hard spike and also when he managed to insert the ball with his feet.
Kageyama doesn't want to lose to him and decides to push beyond his limits. Aside from some of the Service Aces he made, Kageyama also saved the team with a Jump Pass which he did when the score was in a deuce. Even though it was Hinata who inserted the ball, Kageyama was quite satisfied because he was the one who initiated the opportunity.
2. Tsukishima’s Confession
Entering the final round, Tsukishima seems to throw away his pride because he begins to believe in Hinata. When faced against Suna, Tsukishima managed to jump as usual as if he knew he was going to fail at blocking, and it’s true, Suna got past him, but Hinata, who was waiting behind him, managed to block the ball. Tsukishima knew that Hinata would be there.
Not only that, Tsukishima even admits that Hinata's block is good. Since his training as a ball boy, Hinata's focus and reflexes had greatly improved. He has mastered the Split Step, also able to carry the opponent's movements so he can move faster to react. This might be one of Hinata's coolest actions in this match.
3. Asahi’s Technique Against Blocker
When the score is tied, Asahi receives a pass from Kageyama and faces 3 Inarizaki blockers. It's quite difficult to get past these three blockers. But Asahi, who had learned from the fight against Dateko, successfully overcomes them. The Dateko thick wall makes him think hard to break through it.
The way Asahi gets past these blockers is by waiting for them to descend after a jump. In other words, he needs the right timing to execute it. The ball that hit the blocker's fingers, bounces far away and it cannot be stopped by the Libero. The Dateko players who see this are quite upset because they know that it was a technique they faced before.
4. Karasuno’s Last Attack
The rally at the end of the game is very cool. Each Karasuno member manages to save the ball, starting from Tsukishima and Sawamura, followed by a rebound by Tanaka. They all played at a fast tempo to the point Hinata bounced the ball high. This is to make the tempo slower.
With it, the team can adjust their position and breathe better even though the opponents also restore their balance. The ball that Tanaka hit is blocked and the Miya twins attack back with minus tempo. Amazingly, Hinata and Kageyama manage to block the perfect attack and score, and Karasuno wins the match!
