1. Kaido's Scar Starts to Hurt Again

In the previous episode, Kin'emon, along with several other Akazaya Nine used a secret technique that Kaido taught them, Oden Nitoryu: Togen Totsuka. With Oden's extraordinary determination, they managed to injure Kaido. Amazingly, the attack was right at the point of the scar that Oden gave.

On the other hand, Queen's Excite Bullet continued to take its toll. Those who have become Oni will infect other samurai who were bitten like zombies. Zoro had almost touched one of the samurai who helped him but was stopped by Chopper because it could infect him.

2. Another Smile User

When Sanji and Luffy are about to go to Kaido's place, they are stopped by the smile gorilla user, Briscola. Not much different from Holdem, Briscola has a gorilla hand. This is because of the effect of the smile fruit he ate. The gorilla has a life of its own and will follow Briscola's orders.

Luffy and Sanji actually have no trouble fighting him. But to give Luffy time, Jinbei comes to help. With the Uchimizu technique, Briscola falls and is briefly unconscious. With the Samegawara technique, Jinbei manages to beat Briscola.

3. Wano's Condition During the Fire Festival

Amid the Onigashima war, the condition of the people of Wano is shown during the Fire Festival. They are seen celebrating the festival safely without Orochi's presence since Orochi has been beheaded by Kaido. If he's still around, the residents won’t be able to enjoy the festival in peace.

Even the residents of Okobore city can drink clean water, even though they usually can't taste good food and drink. According to the carpenter Franky had worked with, Minamoto, they wouldn't be able to enjoy the fresh air again after the Fire Festival ended.

4. Okiku Losing an Arm

After successfully taking down Kaido with the Togen Totsuka technique, Akazaya Nine thought that the war was over with Kaido's defeat. They burst into tears of joy until Asura Doji warns that Kaido still hasn't lost. Kaido gets up and takes out a Kamaitachi or a Leaf Blade.
