In the previous episode, the Straw Hat alliance starts their move to find the rest of Oden’s retainers and information from the enemy’s base. In One Piece episode 919, we see Luffy’s and Kid’s life in Udon Prison. What kind of chaos will they cause? Read the facts about this week’s episode here!

1. Shinobu’s Fear

After getting caught by Orochi’s guards, Nami and Shinobu make their escape. But since Shinobu makes too much noise, the enemy finds their location. As a result, they almost got stabbed by the guards’ spear. 

Shinobu has a trauma with sharp objects. Maybe in the past, she witnesses Oden getting killed with a sharp object. Thanks to her ninja technique, they both successfully make their escape.

2. Sanji’s Cooking Attracts Attention

When the others are working, Sanji starts selling ramen to the ladies in town. They love Sanji’s ramen. Nami looks at what is happening, and it seems like she’s going to get mad.

Unfortunately, there are others, one of Kaido’s underling, that doesn’t like what Sanji is selling. The individual thinks that Sanji is disrespecting his authority in the town. Sanji will fight them in the next episode.

3. Grandpa Hyogoro Appears

In Udon prison, there’s an old man who can barely work; he is Hyogoro. Even after his hard work, he is only rewarded with one dango. The guards heard his complaint at beat him.

Later on, Hyogoro is helped by Luggy. Those who have read the manga know that Hyogoro will help Luffy learn higher tier Haki.

4. Luffy and Kid Rivalry

Even when they are chained with sea stone handcuff, Luffy and Kid can carry giant blocks to get dango. The amount of dango they get is almost similar.

This angers the vice warden Dobon because he runs out of dango. He intends to take out Luffy and Kid, but instead, he got beat up by the two Supernova.

5. Caribou Makes an Appearance

We see Caribou in the crowded Udon prison, the pirate that appears at Fishman Island. Caribou is a user of Numa Numa no Mi which turns him into a swamp man.

Caribou will also get involved with Luffy and Kid that tries to escape the Udon prison. Caribou’s role in Udon prison is similar to Buggy in Impel Down.
