Spy x Family Episode 7 showed how Anya mustered her courage to apologize to Damian for punching him. Since the accident, Damian & his friends along with Anya’s classmates had been avoiding her as they’re afraid of her violent behavior. 

Since Damian had not accepted Anya’s apology, at the end of the last episode, Loid told Anya to study harder and tutored her to become one of the Imperial Scholars at Eden Academy to help his mission. 1. Anya’s Academic Performance

Early in the episode, you’ll find Anya being asked by the teacher to solve a math problem, yet unfortunately, she gives a wrong answer. This makes Loid unsure about his mission, even when asked by Sylvia about Anya’s academic performance at school, Loid trembles and is forced to make a lie.

2. Introducing: Yuri Briar

In this episode, you’ll learn about the National Security Agency, also known as the Secret Police. It’s where Yuri works as a Secret Police. He interrogates spies who pose threats to the country, and sometimes he even threatens and tortures them. As a matter of fact, he seems to be an expert agent as he manages to bring evidence during the interrogation. Yuri even mentions Twilight, who’s considered the rival of his organization. However, Yor doesn’t have a clue about Yuri’s real work.

3. Yor Starts Panicking

Since she hasn’t told Yuri that she’s been married for a year and has moved, Yuri learns about his sister’s marriage from a mutual friend from Episode 2 at Yor’s colleague’s party. Yor tells Loid that that day Yuri is going to visit them. This makes Yor frantically try to find an excuse to protect her lies.

4. Yuri Visits The Forgers

Due to his work, Yuri arrives at The Forgers’ late at night. He even brings roses for his beloved sister. Although he misses her sister a lot, Yuri starts getting suspicious and curious to find out whether his brother-in-law is a good man for his sister. He gives a scornful look at Loid.

5. Yuri Gets Jealous

Since Yuri loves his older sister so much, he gets jealous when he learns that Yor has been married for a year without telling him. Yuri constantly tries to push down his emotions, while truthfully, he’s furious that his chance to chat with Yor gets interrupted by Loid. Yuri even gets jealous about the nickname Yor uses for Loid, as he only gets to call Yor ”Sis”. This makes Yuri lose his cool and gets drunk to calm himself down.

6. Twilight Reads Yuri

Since Loid is still curious about Yuri’s true identity, he tries to subtly dig for info about him. He starts by asking what Yuri did during his duty in Hugaria. Just by asking where Yuri bought the wine from, Loid is able to know that Yuri has been lying. Loid knows that the answers Yuri has been giving are based on the manuals of made-up stories used by Ostania’s intelligence agencies. This makes Loid believe that instead of an ordinary employee in the ministry, Yuri is actually a member of the National Counterintelligence Agency.

Until the end of the episode, it seems like Yuri is still reluctant to give his approval to Loid, as he cannot bear the thought of Loid disappointing his sister. Yuri wants a man who can fulfill his expectations, someone who can protect and take care of his sister. Yuri remains suspicious about his sister’s marriage, especially after seeing how Yor and Loid act awkwardly when they accidentally touch each other’s fingers. Yuri even tells Loid and Yor to kiss each other to prove that they’re a married couple. Will Loid be able to prove his marriage to Yuri?
