This game presents a different playing experience compared to its competitor. Here you can use One Piece characters with their special techniques.
3. Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale
Who has never heard of InuYasha? The popular animanga in the 90s is about a girl named Kagome that went into the feudal Japanese time. In the game, you will enjoy the exciting fighting game and also the plot that comes with several mini-games to find the shards of Jewel of Four Souls like in the animanga.
4. Digimon World
Digimon World is one of the popular PlayStation1 games in the 90s. What makes the adventure game so popular is that you can keep a Digimon and train it. By playing this game, you will feel like owning an actual Digimon, you are required to take care of it by feeding it, taking it out for a walk, and made them evolve.
5. Bakusou Kyoudai Lets & Go Eternal Wings
If you love playing 4WD Tamiya in the 90s then you are familiar with Lets & Go that was aired in local tv. The popularity of this anime also impacted Bakusou Kyoudai Lets & Go Eternal Wings that was released for PlayStation 1. Medarot R or Medabots is one of the popular JRPG franchises by Natsume that was released last 1997. Similar to its anime, the classic game presents you with a battle between robots in a turn-based fighting style. Besides fighting robots, the player can also upgrade their robot to make it stronger.
7. Kaettekita Cyborg Kurochan
Does anyone still remember Kaettekita Cyborg Kuro-chan? This game was adapted from the anime. It’s a side-scrolling shooting game like Metal Slug and the game was popular in PlayStation rentals at that time. In the game, the player will control a cat cyborg called Kuro-chan to complete every stage. The gameplay is even better if you play it with your friends.
8. Shaman King: Spirit of Shamans
If you watched Shaman King that was aired on local tv, then you are familiar with Shaman King: Spirit of Shamans. The game made by Bandai is a fighting game with characters from the anime. The goal of this game is to help Yoh Asakura, the main character, and his spirit accompanying, Amidamaru, become the Shaman King. although the anime is popular, the game doesn’t see the same success because of the lousy gameplay mechanic.

Every 90s kids owned a Crushgear and they top it off by playing Gekitou! Crush Gear Turbo. The game comes in Japanese, but starting is quite easy, you only need to memorize the buttons. This game is the enemy for a lot of PlayStation rental owners since it broke a lot of controllers.
10. Beyblade Let It Rip
Similar to Gekitou! Crush Gear Turbo, Beyblade Let It Rip was another popular anime game because the anime was aired on a local tv station. In this game, you can enjoy the Beyblade fight using characters that own a specific technique.
