Square Enix's official X ( Twitter) account announced that Octopath Traveler is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, while Octopath Traveler II is now available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and Windows. Square Enix has also started showing trailers for these two games which you can see below!

Both games can also be purchased in a bundle version. “EXTRA BATTLE” mode has been added to Octopath Traveler II in the latest update. After completing the final chapter, players can play the “EXTRA BATTLE” mode which presents powerful enemies that players have never encountered before.

Octopath Traveler II launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in February 2023. The RPG focuses on eight new characters in the land of Solistia. This game also features Cross Paths, a story involving two main characters. Octopath Traveler was originally released for Nintendo Switch in July 2018 and then was also released on PC in June 2019.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a mobile RPG that is a prequel to the original series. Set on the Orsterra continent, this game was launched for iOS and Android devices in October 2020 in Japan and globally in July 2023. Reportedly, Octopath Traveler I will also be included in Xbox Game Pass. Wait for further news!
