The recent Jump Festa 2024 held in Tokyo featured interesting information about manga published in Shonen Jump magazine. Of particular interest here is One Piece author Eiichiro Oda's message regarding One Piece in 2024. Oda also supports other manga to be as successful as One Piece.

He hopes that another Japanese manga will win an Academy Award because it is one of Oda's dreams. Oda also thanked Inaki Godoy and friends as the main cast of One Piece Live Action. He hopes they can become big Hollywood stars in the future.

Oda also hopes that Luffy and friends can leave Egghead Island safely and go to "the island" even if they use a different route. The island in question could be Elbaf or even Laugh Tale. But it might still be too soon for the Straw Hat crew to get to Laugh Tale.

Oda also revealed that a battle between "that guy" and "this guy" is inevitable. And that battle will have a big impact. It's really interesting the information conveyed by Oda.
