Apoo Offers X-Drake for Alliance

Having barely been seen since being hit by Zoro's attack, Apoo has finally returned. At the beginning of One Piece 1030, it is shown that he is hiding somewhere in the middle of a war with the Numbers. He's not alone, because he's with X-Drake.

Apoo finds out that X-Drake is a Marine spy, but he offers X-Drake an alliance. Apoo's goal is to defeat whoever wins between the wars and get all the glory there is. X-Drake, who already knew how the end of an alliance between pirates that ended in betrayal, seemed disapproving of an alliance with Apoo.

But will X-Drake turn it down? No one knows, but X-Drake will likely accept the offer since he is a Marine spy and he certainly knows that the Navy's secret agent, CP0, is also in Onigashima. It will be interesting to see what X-Drake's decision will be.

Kin’emon is Still Alive!

One surprising thing about this chapter is that Kin'emon is still alive. Yes, after previously being shown to have been cut in half by Kaido, it turns out that Kin'emon is still alive. Apparently his body that was split apart by Law has not really been put back together.

His lower half sought help to help the dying Kiku and met with Usopp and Nami. Asking for help, Usopp set out to help Kin'emon and Kiku.

Orochi Plans to Destroy Onigashima

Kanjuro can be said to be a very annoying and stubborn character. After betraying Kin'emon and kidnapping Momonosuke, he was found alive again and again despite being defeated many times.

Kanjuro, who is still alive—though dying—is contacted by Orochi who is hiding somewhere. Orochi ignites Kanjuro's zeal to avenge the Kuroizumi clan, prompting Kanjuro to unleash his final technique to burn all of Onigashima—especially the arsenal of weapons that could explode at any moment. Orochi who is hiding feels that he will win this war and get rid of Kaido.

Law and Kid’s Awakening!

Law and Kid's battle against Big Mom has been going on for quite some time. Law and Kid were very tired. Surprisingly, Law and Kid have Awakened their devil fruit! It's just that they don't want to use it unless it's really urgent and is used to launch a final attack because their Awakened devil fruitis very draining.

Law and Kid also use their Awakening to attack Big Mom. The Law’s Awakening  technique is called Anesthesia Shock Wille and its effect is to attack the enemy from within. This is quite powerful because it hurt Big Mom quite badly. While the Kid's Awakening technique is named: Assign: Punk Clash and turns Big Mom into a very strong magnet. Because her body became a magnet, all iron—including the iron construction of the two very large towers—was attracted and hit Big Mom's body.
