After the Wano arc, the World Government decided on a new Yonkou due to Kaido and Big Mom’s defeat. They are Luffy, Blackbeard, Shanks, and Buggy who somehow became Yonkou. Even though only Luffy who is declared as a new Yonkou, Law and Kid also have the same bounty as him, which is 3 billion Belly. So how much is Buggy's bounty as a Yonkou?

In One Piece episode 1086, we can see Buggy's new bounty is even higher than Luffy's. Actually, the reason Buggy became a Yonkou was due to the Marines’ mistake. The information they get does not match the facts. Because of the Cross Guild poster, they thought that Buggy was Crocodile and Mihawk's boss.

Crocodile has had his bounty increased since being in the Cross Guild, to 1,965,000,000 Belly. Meanwhile, Buggy, who is mistakenly believed to be a Yonkou and Crocodile and Mihawk’s boss, received a bounty of 3,189,000,000 Belly. Of course, such a high bounty doesn't make sense considering Buggy's lacking fighting abilities.

It is as if this is just a joke that Oda made up so that the story in One Piece doesn't get too serious. Buggy has resigned himself to his current situation and just wants to survive. In the past, he said he wanted to become a Yonkou, but he regretted it after he actually became a Yonkou because of a miracle.
