Not long ago, the One Piece live-action series was confirmed to be airing on Netflix, as were the main cast. Based on an article written by Murphy's Multiverse on Twitter, the number of episodes in the One Piece live-action series was shortened to 8 episodes after it was planned to have 10 episodes.
Reportedly, this was due to the new variant of COVID-19, Omicron, which is currently happening in South Africa, where the shooting took place. To maintain the health of the cast, the shooting time there is limited. Another reason may be to shorten the production time.
This news is still uncertain because there has been no official information from the One Piece live-action series. Filming is also still going on today. Since it's only 8 episodes, likely, this will only reach the Arlong Park arc. Look forward to more news about the One Piece live-action series only on Dunia Games!
