As the MPL Indonesia Season 16 (MPL ID S16) Regular Season draws to a close, the MPL ID S16 Regular Season champion is now known. Over the past eight weeks, we've witnessed the nine best MLBB teams in Indonesia compete in MPL ID S16. This highly competitive season has seen numerous surprises, with many new players shining.

Previously, ONIC won the MPL ID S16 half-season championship. Skylar's presence on the "King of the Sky" team has been a significant impact. Throughout the season, they've been incredibly dominant, and ONIC's chances of winning the MPL ID S16 Regular Season are virtually undeniable.

Only Had 1 Loss, ONIC Wins MPL ID S16 Regular Season

ONIC's journey in the MPL ID S16 Regular Season has been quite smooth. In the first week, they faced two new teams: DEWA United Esports and Bigetron by Vitality. ONIC secured comprehensive 2-0 victories against both teams. Moving into the second week, ONIC only played one match. ONIC faced Geek Fam, and again, Kairi and his teammates secured a 2-0 victory.

In the third week, ONIC faced a new match against RRQ Hoshi. However, Skylar and his teammates managed to silence RRQ with a score of 2-0. In their next match, they faced Alter Ego Esports, and in this match, Alter Ego put up an interesting fight. Alter Ego managed to steal a game from ONIC, becoming the first team to "hurt" the Heavenly Kings. Nevertheless, ONIC still managed to win with a score of 2-1.

Entering the fourth week, ONIC faced new challengers: Natus Vincere (NaVi) and Team Liquid ID. In the match against Navi, ONIC faced the same fierce resistance as Alter Ego. Navi, with the presence of two of their PH players, Andoryuu and Uk1r, managed to steal a point from ONIC. Once again, ONIC secured a 2-1 victory over Navi.

Meanwhile, against Team Liquid ID, ONIC faced no problems and won 2-0. In week five, ONIC faced another match against EVOS. EVOS also managed to earn a point against ONIC, but Sanz and his teammates prevailed 2-1. In week six, ONIC continued their dominance with comprehensive victories over Team Liquid ID and RRQ Hoshi, each with a score of 2-0.

ONIC played another match in week seven, against Natus Vincere. Unlike the first leg, ONIC won the second leg 2-0. In week eight, ONIC faced a challenge. Against Bigetron by Vitality, ONIC's win streak was finally broken. ONIC suffered a 2-0 defeat to Bigetron by Vitality. Despite this, ONIC remained unshaken at the top of the standings. However, ONIC bounced back from defeat with a 2-0 victory over EVOS.

The victory over EVOS ultimately secured ONIC the MPL ID Season 16 Regular Season title. Completing their midseason victory, Kairi and his teammates closed out the Regular Season with a spectacular result. We'll certainly be looking forward to seeing ONIC perform in the playoffs.
