After a Fierce Duel Against Alter Ego, ONIC Qualifies for the M7 World Championship!

The match between ONIC and Alter Ego in the Upper Bracket Final took place on Friday, October 31, 2025. As previously mentioned, a win for ONIC would qualify for the M7 World Championship, and vice versa. A win for Alter Ego would make it Indonesia's first entry into the M7 World Championship. If both teams lost, they would face EVOS in the Lower Bracket Final.

In Game 1, ONIC held the early lead. ONIC's Yve, Baxia, and Lapu-Lapu combo seemed to hamper Alter Ego's progress. Arfy's Benedetta Gold appeared ineffective, allowing ONIC to build momentum. With the first Lord secured, ONIC stormed Alter Ego's base. With Yazuke and Arfy down, ONIC moved swiftly to attack Alter Ego's base.

Without significant resistance, ONIC won Game 1. Game 2 saw a fierce battle early on. Alter Ego's Yu Zhong Valentina game countered ONIC's Hayabusa Lapu-Lapu combo. Teamfight after teamfight ensued, as Alter Ego struggled to match ONIC's strength. Game 2 was quite intense, with both teams truly showing off their skills.

The battle for the third Lord proved a golden moment for ONIC. Alter Ego players Yazuke and Alekk were defeated, followed by Hijumee and Arfy. Nino was left alone, helpless, and ONIC finally secured their victory in game 2. Alter Ego went on a rampage in game 3, with Yazuke's Fanny. Alter Ego's Fanny-Pharsa combo successfully held ONIC's advance in the deciding game.

The game continued, with a teamfight in the mid zone. Hijumee successfully took down Kiboy, and Alter Ego secured the first Lord. El Familia tried to attack ONIC's base but were unsuccessful. With the second Lord secured, Alter Ego had a golden opportunity to win, but ONIC refused to give up and successfully repelled Al Ego's players. Another teamfight ensued between the two teams.

Two crucial kills from Arfy paved the way for victory for Alter Ego. Kairi and SANZ disappeared, ONIC's players were crippled, and Alter Ego finally secured their first point. In Game 4, ONIC regained the early lead. A teamfight ensued in the 18th minute, giving Alter Ego a chance to win, with Arfy securing a double kill, causing ONIC's players to fall.

The remaining Kiboys were also killed. A wipeout was secured, and Alter Ego finally equalized the score, taking a step closer to the M7 World Championship. ONIC's strength was completely negated, and ONIC's chance to advance to M7 was within reach. In Game 5, the two teams once again engaged in a fierce battle early on. The fight for the first Lord proved decisive, as Alter Ego's players fell.

The Lord advanced towards Alter Ego's base, while ONIC attempted to attack El Familia's defense, ultimately securing ONIC's place in the M7 World Championship as the first Indonesian representative and advancing to the Grand Final. Alter Ego, on the other hand, will have to be patient and face EVOS in the Lower Bracket Finals for the second remaining M7 spot.
