In an interview conducted by the Indonesian One Piece community to international One Piece fan, Greg Warner, there were some interesting explanations about One Piece he talked about. As a One Piece historian, Greg knows a lot of interesting info that most fans might not realize!

One of the interesting things he discussed in the interview was Luffy's eyes that popped out when using Gear 5. According to Greg, it wasn't a joke but Luffy's eyes did come out. He mentioned that it was part of Luffy's devil fruit awakening power.
