In less than two months, you can watch the hit anime Oshi no Ko which will return for its long-awaited second season. The live-streaming program broadcast on Sunday (26/05) for Oshi no Ko Season 2, now features its first major promotional video, new main visuals, and new characters for the season, as well as revealing the premiere date which will be July 3, 2024. Here's the latest visual for Oshi no Ko Season 2.

The second season of the anime will feature the 2.5D Stage Play Arc from the original manga. The characters shown are seen auditioning for the cast of Tokyo Blade, who raise swords against each other in the intense new trailer. You can also listen to the opening song of the second season entitled "Fatale" by GEMN. Below is a video trailer that you can watch.

Some of the announced characters and cast members include:

• Ayane Sakura as Abiko Samejima, the creator of the manga that inspired the 2.5D stage play Tokyo Blade
• Daisuke Ono as GOA, the scriptwriter for the 2.5D stage play of Tokyo Blade

The season will premiere on July 3 and air on over 29 channels across Japan. Meanwhile, for global broadcasts, you can watch it on several of your favorite streaming services. 

The story of Oshi no Ko Season 2 focuses on a 2.5D stage play entitled Tokyo Blade. Story-wise, the play is an adaptation of the original manga story, where Kana Arima will play Tsurugi, Akane Kurokawa will play Sayahime, Aqua Hoshino will play Touki, and Melt Narushima will play Kizami, respectively. Then, there are new actors and voice actors such as Kouki Uchiyama as Taiki Himekawa and Yusuke Kobayashi as Sakuya Kamoshida as well. 

The second season of the anime was previously confirmed by HIDIVE at Anime Expo 2023. The first television anime of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's Oshi no Ko manga premiered in Japan in April 2023 with a 90-minute first episode.
