Mysterious Core is one of the items you need to find from the world quest called Truly Mouthwatering. You can find this world quest when you explore Fontaine by meeting an NPC named Henri. You can find a man buried in the sand with a roast chicken nearby on the way to Fontaine. Henri will trigger a journey to help the man. You will be asked to find seven Mysterious Cores in certain locations to complete the mission.

How To Start World Quest Mysterious Core

You have to start the world quest called Truly Mouthwatering in Genshin Impact before you can use the seven mysterious cores. To find Henri buried in the ground and attacked by Crabs, teleport to the north coast of Poisson by using Fontaine's Talent Domain and go south.

To complete this task, you have to play an association game to find out who buried Henri and why he did it. After getting the correct answer, Henri will give a reward to those of you who successfully collect the seven Mysterious Cores, along with a guide to the location where to find the seven mysterious cores.

Mysterious Core Locations in Genshin Impact

• The first location you have to visit is the waverider waypoint in Elynas, then move north along the coast to find the first machine containing the Mysterious Core.
• The second location is still in Elynas, you can use either of the two southern Teleport Waypoints. Follow the waterfall and river to the beach to find the second Mysterious Core. In this place you will also find one of the mysterious pages needed to get the Book of Revealing in Genshin Impact.
• The third location you can look at the island on the right, then you can use the teleport waypoint on the southernmost side and go northeast.
• The fourth location, you go to the talent domain in Genshin Impact’s Fontaine and move a little north, there you will find the fourth mysterious core.
• The fifth location you can use the teleport waypoint in the northeast and head west to find the fifth mysterious core.
• The sixth location you can use the teleport waypoint to the north and go west, there you will find the sixth mysterious core.
• The seventh location you need to swim north (slightly northwest) or use the teleport waypoint northeast of the Fontaine Fishing Association and swim south.

Give All Mysterious Cores to Henri

Once you obtain all the Mysterious Cores, return to Henri and hand over all the materials to him. If you forget where he is, you can teleport to the underwater talent Domain, then swim south to the shore. Henri was there.

You cannot continue the world quest Truly Mouthwatering in Genshin Impact until all seven cores are collected, so there is no need to return to Henri beforehand. However, when this condition is met, Henri will call his "boss" who turns out to be a Fatui member.

When the main character (traveler) is seen by the Fatui, they are frightened and try to escape, but two individuals dressed in black stop the "boss" and bury him in the sand as they did to Henri before. This resulted in great confusion for Henri, and Hunter and Turner, explaining that in Genshin Impact, Fatui makes the main character (the traveler) dismantle the machine that controls the water quality in Fontaine.

Of course, this comes as a shock to Henri because he was told that the machines were destroying the environment and he thought that his actions were for good. However, even though he did something that could be considered a criminal act, the black-clad Hunter and Turner were instructed not to get involved with the main character (the traveler).
