Free Fire is releasing its latest patch update titled “Flame Arena” starting October 29, 2025. This update coincides with the upcoming Free Fire World Series Global Finals (FFWS GF) 2025 Jakarta.

In this update, all players will experience the thrill of world-class competition with various exciting features, including a new loadout system, Flame Trophy & Flame Zone, and commentators that make the battles even more intense.

Free Fire Flame Arena Patch

New Loadout System

In this patch, Free Fire replaces eight old loadouts with four new ones: Team Booster, Enhance Hammer, Tactical Market, and Super Leg Pockets. This change will open up new strategies for winning matches in both Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS).

• Team Booster: Turns players into the best support with various boosts for recovery, speed, and protection, plus a Helper Bot that assists teammates on the battlefield.
• Enhance Hammer: Upgrades team weapons to maximum level with the best attachments, and uses Hammer Tokens to strengthen weapons and Gloo Walls in game modes.
• Tactical Market: Access the market anytime and anywhere to get new items such as Bolt Maker to create a Lightning Zone that lasts for 30 seconds.
• Super Leg Pockets: A combination of the old leg pocket, Bonfire, & Armor Crate.

Explore a World Full of Competition

The Flame Arena patch will also provide a more intense survival experience for all players with the start of FFWS GF 2025 Jakarta on October 31. Players will begin the battle with a variety of new experiences in both BR & CS modes:

• Battle Royale: Each team will receive a random banner to defend. The banner will burn and disappear from the sky when all teams under the same banner are eliminated. Throughout the match, players will hear commentators announcing important moments such as team eliminations and the appearance of the Flame Zone. In the final stage, the Flame Trophy will appear in the sky, marking the moment leading to victory, which ends with a special Flame Booyah animation for the winning team.
• Clash Squad: Both teams will randomly receive their own banners. When one team reaches match point, the Flame Zone will replace the outer zone area, and the Flame Trophy will appear in the center with both banners spinning around it. All game elements, including the CS Store, spawn area, and Cyber Airdrop, will feature the Flame Arena theme, while the winning team will be greeted with a special Flame Booyah victory animation.

Players can obtain various Flame Arena-themed items, including the Molten Fury Bundle, Lava Fury Bundle, FFWS Bundles, and the Fury Hyperbook, which contains the AC80 weapon skin, emote, and Gloo Wall. You can also get free rewards such as the Flame Edge Bundle, Flame Arena-themed Gloo Wall, Truck Skin, and Jersey and Avatar from the 18 FFWS GF 2025 Jakarta Finalist teams.

Character & Weapon Updates

Free Fire also introduces a new character named Nero. This new character has a skill called Cryo Mind, a doll that can create an area to block opponents from using Gloo Walls and deal damage to enemies inside.

In addition to the new character, Free Fire also introduces a new weapon called Winchester. This Marksman Rifle-type weapon is ready to be a new challenge on the battlefield with its two-bullet firing mechanism and high mobility. This weapon is suitable for long-range combat. 

The Excitement of FFWS Global Finals 2025 Jakarta at Flame Arena

Flame Arena not only brings exciting gameplay, but also serves as a venue to celebrate the spirit of esports and the Free Fire community around the world. For the first time, professional athletes such as WAG.Xbor (Vietnam), Evos.Rasyah (Indonesia), Fluxo.Bops (Brazil), and BRU.Wassana (Thailand) will appear on the Free Fire login screen.

Through a special esports collaboration event, Free Fire also invites the community to create FFWS-themed artwork. Selected designs will be immortalized as special Gloo Walls in the game, which will appear at the EWC: Free Fire 2026 event.

All the strongest teams from each region have arrived in Jakarta to compete for the world title at the FFWS GF 2025 Jakarta event. Eighteen teams will begin their journey with the Knockout Stage from October 31 to November 9 at Bali United Studio in West Jakarta, followed by the Grand Finals on November 14-15, 2025, at Indonesia Arena. All teams will compete for a total prize pool of US$ 1,150,000.
