Chopper Bronze Statue to be Installed in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan!
After Luffy and the other Straw Hat Pirates, now it’s time for Chopper to be installed!
Anime & Manga | 05 November
Kumamoto is the hometown of One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda. Because of it, there have been a few Straw Hat Pirates bronze statues that were installed in the said prefecture. This time, Chopper will receive such treatment. The installation for this statue is located at the Animal Botanical Garden front gate, Kumamoto.
The ceremony for the Chopper statue will be held on November 7th, 2020. Previously, the Chopper statue should have been established on March 28th, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates delayed to November. The placement for this statue is smaller than Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji following the character’s height in the series.
This statue stands for 90cm tall, according to Chopper’s height as revealed in SBS One Piece. With this, Chopper becomes the fourth crew to get the bronze statue after Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp. This month, Brook and Franky will follow suit. There’s no information regarding Zoro, Robin, and Nami. Surely Oda wants all the Straw Hat Crews to get their bronze statue in his hometown.
