PB ESI Aims for Medals in 4 Esports Events at the 2023 SEA Games

Police Commissioner General Drs. Bambang Sunarwibowo, SH, M.Hum., the Chairperson of PB ESI, set a target for the Indonesian national team to win gold medals in four esports events at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.
Indonesia is known to be participating in six of the nine esports events contested at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. The six events are Women's and Men's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB); PUBG Mobile (Squad and Solo); Valorant, and Crossfire.
From the six events, PB ESI targets at least four gold medals. This was stated by the Commissioner General of Police. Drs. Bambang Sunarwibowo, SH, M.Hum., the Chairperson of PB ESI, attending the Departure Ceremony of the Indonesia National Esports Team at the PB ESI Office, South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/5) for the 32nd SEA Games.
“We are optimistic about the esports events being held in Cambodia, from the six events we'll be participating in, we hope we can get at least four gold and two silver (medals),” he said.
The events that are expected to grant gold medals are Women's and Men's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB); as well as PUBG Mobile Squad and Solo.
“We aim for gold (medals) from the PUBG Mobile Solo and Squad, Women's and Men's Mobile Legends. So, we are targeting four gold medals,” he said about the target set by PB ESI in the esports events at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.
