The Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025 competition has ended with the KAGENDRA team successfully becoming the champion. For several weeks, a total of 10 of the best Honor of Kings (HOK) teams have shown their best performance from the Regular Season to the playoff round held at Taman Anggrek Mall, Jakarta.

The competition in IKL Spring 2025 was indeed quite fierce. Many surprises occurred, especially approaching the playoff round. Teams that were initially not good at the beginning of the competition slowly rose and showed their best performance. In the end, a total of 6 teams advanced to the playoff round including Dominator Esports, Bigetron by Vitality, TALON, KAGENDRA, ONIC and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ).

On the first day, the matches in the play-ins round were quite hot. Starting from the match between ONIC and KAGENDRA and also RRQ against TALON. ONIC had to accept the less than satisfactory results, where they lost against KAGENDRA with a score of 0-2 and had to be eliminated from the first day.

This certainly makes ONIC HOK need to improve in order to get the best results. Although it did not qualify for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) 2025 Esports World Cup, at least ONIC HOK still has enough time to prepare for the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Fall 2025.

ONIC HOK Coach Officially Released, Reshuffle Post IKL Spring 2025

A big announcement came from ONIC HOK on Friday, June 20, 2025 where they officially released their coach Govher “Gov” Tallulembang. Gov has been with ONIC HOK since the division was inaugurated last year. The management certainly wishes the best for Gov's next journey.

"Coach Gov says goodbye to ONIC HOK. Thank you for your struggle and contribution with ONIC HOK. See you on the next stage, Coach. Always be successful for the next steps, Coach," wrote the management.

During his time coaching ONIC HOK, Coach Gov has coached two generations of rosters from this division. Previously, ONIC HOK participated in the qualifying round of the Honor of Kings Championship (KC) 2024 and finished in 3rd place. Then, ONIC HOK returned to the qualifying round of the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 (KIS S3) Indonesia Qualifier but finished in 5th place after losing to KAGENDRA.

And in the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Spring 2025 competition, ONIC HOK fell again in the top 5-6 positions after falling in the play-ins round. Hopefully this change can bring better results for ONIC in other Honor of Kings competitions. Especially for the Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL) Fall 2025.
