Many people still question whether gacha while fasting in the month of Ramadan is allowed or not. What is clear is that gacha in the real world is haram because it is considered gambling. But is gacha in games still allowed in Islam? The Indonesian Ulema Council has not yet set any rules for gacha in the game.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Ulema Council considers this haram because it is considered gambling. The laws of gacha in the game can mean haram or not. The author himself still does not dare to conclude whether this is really permitted in Islam. In the author's personal opinion, gacha in the game is still allowed as long as you don't use money or top-ups.
In other words, gacha using items collected in the game (Diamonds, Crystals, etc.) is still safe because it doesn't use real money. But top-ups for gacha are also allowed because they are only in the game. For those of you who play gacha games, don't be afraid, because there is no law in Islam that mentions this.
For you Muslims, as long as you don't leave your prayers to play games, the author thinks it's still not a problem. Also remember, don't get addicted to gacha and then top-up in large amounts because you are afraid that is not allowed in Islam. It would be better if you are F2P (free to play) or a player who doesn't top-up at all.
That was a brief explanation of the gacha law when fasting in the month of Ramadan. In your opinion, is gacha in games still allowed in Islam?
