1. Gamesmanship

Gamesmanship is the ability of a player to win free-kicks when taking a challenge from the opponent.

This skill definitely comes with pros and cons. Some of the most skillful and high-quality players possess this skill such as Neymar, Rashford, Romario, etc.

You can even train this skill by spending some Skill Tokens. Gamesmanship grants you a bigger chance of winning free kicks or even penalty kicks.

However, the shortcoming of players who possess Gamesmanship is that they tend to take a dive on any challenge.

2. Tight Possession

Tight Possession, is the ability to keep the ball close and make finesse touches when dribbling it, making it more difficult for the opposing team to steal the ball from the player.

In short, if the player has the ball far from his feet when dribbling, chances are he has low Tight Possession.

For example, Ruben Dias has 74 Tight Possession, and the distance between his feet and the ball is quite far.

This is an important aspect for you to be aware of as it will be rather easy for the opposing team to steal the ball from your player if he has low Tight Possession.

So, try not to force your players with low Tight Possession to dribble the ball for too long so you won’t lose possession.

Once you have the ball on a player with good Tight Possession, you’ll notice that the ball will be closer to his control. Then, you can keep the ball for a while, looking for teammates to launch a killer pass to.
