After it was inaugurated in January in Thailand, the registration for PVP Esports 2020 in Indonesia has been opened. This tournament will serve as the stage to showcase the best esports teams that will represent Indonesia to face teams from other Southeast Asian countries in the Grand Finals.

As previously announced, PVP Esports 2020 Season 1 will be divided into two groups of competitions; PVP Esports Corporate Championships and Campus Championships. As the name implies, each group is intended for two different groups of esports athletes. PVP Esports Corporate Championships is aimed for corporate workers, while the PVP Esports Campus Championships is for college students.

PVP Esports Corporate Championships will feature three different games; Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Dota 2, and PUBG Mobile. At the national level, each game boasts a total prize of IDR 30 million.

Meanwhile, PVP Esports Campus Championships is predicted to have an exciting atmosphere around it with the popular mobile game, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, being competed in this event. Aside from competing for the total prize of IDR 20 million, the best collegiate esports teams from campuses all over Indonesia will also fight for the place to represent the nation in the PVP Esports 2020 Grand Finals.

The decision to pick these two gaming communities is certainly not without reason. “These two communities (campus and corporate) are the biggest contributors to the (gaming) community within the amateur level, yet have little to no opportunity to take part in a tournament,” said Rezaly Surya Afhany, the Esports Manager of Telkomsel.

“We see many companies that provide their employees with the chance to form esports teams to carry the pride and the name of the company,” added the man who usually called as “Bang Jali”.

The competition that’s the fruition of the partnership between telecommunication companies from several Southeast Asian countries, such as Singtel, AIS, Dunia Games, and Globe is planned to be held from March to June in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

How to Register for PVP Esports 2020 in Indonesia

It’s so easy to register your team for the PVP Esports 2020, simply visit the official PVP Esports 2020 registration page. On this page, you may choose which competition you will participate in, whether it’s PVP Esports Corporate Championships or PVP Esports Campus Championships.

For PVP Esports Corporate Championships, you have to choose which game that you’d like to take part in its competition; Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Dota 2, or PUBG Mobile. After choosing the game, you have to choose the area where you and your team come from.

The PVP Esports 2020 in Indonesia will be divided into four areas of competition: Area 1 (Sumatera), Area 2 (Jakarta, West Java, and Banten), Area 3 (Special Region of Yogyakarta, Central Java, East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara), and Area 4 (Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan). Area selection will determine the schedule for your online qualification.

The registration for PVP Esports 2020 in Indonesia has been opened from February 17 until March 31.
