Sad news coming from the author of the popular manga Yu-Gi-Oh! who was found dead in the offshore area near the city of Nago, Okinawa island. Reporting from Japan's NHK website, on July 6, a person in snorkeling gear was seen floating on the beach in Nago city, Okinawa prefecture.
Today (7/7), the coast guard of the city of Nago confirmed that the corpse of the unknown man was the author of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, Kazuki Takahashi. Kazuki Takahashi, whose real name is Kazumasa, died at the age of 60. The police are still investigating the cause of death until now.
Yu-Gi-Oh! was released in 1998 and is still growing today. Yu-Gi-Oh! Has spawned 8 series. Yu-Gi-Oh! has also become one of the most popular card games in the world with a total of 56 game titles on various platforms.
