Finally, PlayStation 4 players can enjoy the console-exclusive game, Ghost of Tsushima. This game was made by Sucker Punch, the studio behind the Infamous series. This game adapts a real-life Japanese history, where during the 13th century, the Mongolian Army holds a major invasion into the East. Jin Sakai as the survived Samurai from the invasion attempts to retake Tsushima, his land.

With fresh gameplay mechanics, soothing visuals, and interesting storyline, it’s not surprising that Ghost of Tsushima receives positive reviews among gamers. But behind the development made by Sucker Punch, it turns out that there voice talents who make the game more enjoyable.

1. Lord Shimura - Eric Steinberg

Lord Shimura is the commander of the Samurai army from clan Shimura. He became the highest general in Tsushima island who led the war against the Mongolian invasion. Sadly, Lord Shimura has taken hostage by the Mongols after the Samurai army defeated. This character is based on an actor Eric Steinberg. 

This 50 years old actor often appears in television series. One of the popular series of his is Freefrom Pretty Little Liars when he’s playing as Emily Fields’ father. 

2. Jin Sakai - Daisuke Tsuji

Jin Sakai is the protagonist and the playable character in Ghost of Tsushima. Gamers will venture as Jin Sakai who survived against the Mongols. This Samurai is portrayed by an actor Daisuke Tsuji. This actor is also known as one of the cast in Letters of Iwo Jima which released in 2006.

3. Yuna - Sumalee Montano

Yuna is a character who saved Jin Sakai. She is also a brave woman and makes a supreme effort to save her little brother, Taka. Yuna is portrayed by Sumalee Montano, an American voice actress who grew up in the United States.

4. Masako Adachi - Lauren Tom

Masako Adachi is the only surviving woman of clan Adachi. As an elder, she can only hope to reunite with her son from Komoda beach. Masako is portrayed by actress Lauren Tom. 

5. Norio - Earl T. Kim

Norio is rather a unique character, where he described as a monk who fights using naginata. Norio is portrayed by actor and director Earl T. Kim.

6. Sensei Ishikawa - François Chau

Sensei Ishikawa is a Samurai who is an expert in archery. Seeing the total loss of the Samurai troops against the Mongolian army, Sensei Ishikawa also teaches his archery skills to Jin Sakai. Ishikawa is portrayed by veteran actor Francois Chau. Aside from working as a voice actor, Francois also often appears in a popular series, and one of them is The Tick. 

7. Yuriko - Karen Huie

Yuriko is a character who nursed back Jin and one of the elders of clan Sakai. Yuriko is an expert in making poisons. Her expertise later inherits to Jin to help him drive back the Mongols. Yuriko is portrayed by senior actress Karen Huie.

8. Kenji - James Hiroyuki Liao

Kenji is a merchant and farmer who affiliates with the Mongols. He is also a brewer and supplier to the Mongols. Kenji is portrayed by senior actor James Hiroyuki Liao. One of his famous roles is when he’s playing as Roland Glenn in Prison Break. 

9. Taka - Eddie Shin

Taka is Yuna’s little brother, he is also known as the master blacksmith in Tsushima island. Taka is portrayed by actor Eddie Shin. 

10. Ryuzo - Leonard Wu

Ryuzo is the childhood friend of Jin Sakai. As his close friend, Ryuzo also helps Jin on driving back the Mongols. Ryuzo is portrayed and voiced by actor Leonard Wu. One of his famous roles is when he played as Kinuba in Alita: Battle Angel.

11. Khotun Khan - Patrick Gallagher

The last one, Khotun Khan is the main antagonist and the commander of the Mongolian Army who invades the Tsushima island. He will also serve as Jin’s opponent. If you take a closer look, Khotun Khan’s face is similar to Attila the Hun in Night at the Museum movie, because he’s portrayed by the same actor: Patrick Gallagher.
