Voice actor Junichi Suwabe announced via his personal blog that he will be going on hiatus for several weeks starting January 1st 2024. This is because he will carry out the operation on the doctor's recommendation. It was not explained specifically what operation he underwent, but it was not related to a chronic disease.

Suwabe also announced that due to a sudden hiatus, he would not be able to appear at the "Premier Music Reading Theater VOICARION XVII - Shield of the Spoon" event which was held in Osaka on January 6th-7th. Voice actor Koichi Yamadera will replace him at the event.

Before that, Suwabe can still appear at various events until the end of 2023. He will also appear at Jump Festa 2024 which will be held December 16th-17th in Tokyo. Junichi Suwabe is known for playing many popular characters such as Shota Aizawa from Boku no Hero Academia, Daiki Aomine in Kuroko no Basket, Yami Sukehiro from Black Clover, Barou Shohei from Blue Lock, Atobe Keigo from Prince of Tennis, and others.
