In One Piece episode 1076 which recently aired, Kaido was finally defeated by Luffy. This means that the role of Kaido's voice actor, Tessho Genda, is over. The funny thing is, Tessho was shocked after hearing that his role had ended in the One Piece anime. “Wait, I lost?” asked Tessho who was shocked.

Reporting from an interview with Usopp's voice actor, Kappei Yamaguchi, Tessho revealed this funny fact. Tessho doesn't read the One Piece manga even though he voices Kaido. Because, naturally, he doesn't know that Kaido has lost in the anime. Maybe several other voice actors ar the same as Tessho.

Even though Kaido has lost, Oda confirms that he is not dead. In other words, there is still a possibility that he will reappear, whether in the final battle or before. Meanwhile, Big Mom has been confirmed dead by Oda after being defeated by Law and Kid.
